Now that 20th Century Fox has been fully acquired by Walt Disney, Marvel is rumoured to be looking for a way to fit Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool into the upcoming Spider-Man storylines, as well as also integrating various X-Men characters into the other superheroe films i the Marvel Universe.
According to fan sites, there are several options of doing this, including moving forward with Deadpool 3, introducing Ryan Reynold’s brilliant character to a Disney+ series (we’re not entirely how sure this can happen considering the PG content that we all love so much), or including Deadpool in their third Spiderman movie.
None of these theories have been confirmed but fans are betting on the third option for one simple reason: Sony Pictures would get involved, meaning Disney won’t see any of the profits.
Either way, its worth a lookout for another, far more foul-mouthed man in a red once the Spiderman 3 film comes out.

Avengers: Endgame saw many of Wakanda’s most important heroes, many of whom were killed in the Decimation, returned to life, with the end of the film giving a brief glimpse of T’Challa and his family at their palace. As Marvel Cinematic Universe films tend to be connected, some fans think Endgame might just hold a major clue as to the villain in Black Panther 2.
A line of dialogue from Okoye in the film hints at the inclusion of Namor the Sub-Mariner, which she hints at when she talks about an underwater earthquake. Endgame writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely previously said the reference wasn’t intentional. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean the reference won’t end up leading to Namor somewhere down the line, as the MCU definitely uses retcons. Joe and Anthony Russo also had a much different reaction to the event, saying it might have been intentional in an interview. Doctor Strange 2 director Scott Derrickson also seemingly teased the possibility of the popular character in March.

Netflix has officially cancelled The Punisher after two seasons. It’s the news Marvel fans had been expecting for a while, but will they be expecting this latest twist?
Because, according to series star Royce Johnson, there’s still a chance that The Punisher will return in the future.Chatting to ComicBook.com as Frank Castle’s dust settled, Royce revealed that he and some of his co-stars were hopeful for the future. “[Marvel]’s got something in store,” he said.
Explaining his reaction to the show’s axe, Royce said: “Yeah, I’ve gotten… one call and two texts, saying, ‘It’s been a great journey’.
“We had a nice phone call, a nice chat, saying, ‘Hopefully, we’ll meet again down the line’. And it would be great if we could meet down the line as those same characters.”
Clearly hopeful for a Punisher reunion, the actor – aka Detective Sergeant Brett Mahoney – predicted: “I don’t think that Marvel is the type of company that will sit down and not revamp. It’s got something in store, so I’m wishing for the best with this.”
As well as pulling the plug on The Punisher, Netflix also confirmed that the upcoming third season of Jessica Joneswould be its last on the streaming service, following in the forlorn footsteps of Daredevil, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist.
